Kalvin sat in the shopping cart like a big man for the first time and did great! He was a fan of checking everyone out and being able to smile at everyone easier. He wasn't a fan of us putting his new toy in the big part of the cart where he couldn't get at it...he kept turning around to make sure it was still there! he he!
Last night Mom, Kalvin, and I went to work at the concession stand. Kalvin did great! He was pretty tired from the busy day so was just content with someone holding him. When we got home, Kalvin went straight to bed!My mom and I enjoyed a very funny supper late last night :) We had eggs with a glass (or maybe 2...he he) of wine, some chips we polished off, and I had a toasted marshmallow for dessert...over the stove. It was a yummy meal! It's probably a good thing we don't eat like that every night at 9:30pm!!
My favorite time of day is when Vera FINALLY decides she's tired and will sit down! My parents house is much bigger then mine so she thinks she needs to explore it all. I'm constantly yelling "VERA, COME!!" One more funny story for you... While I'm home, I'd like to go shopping for a new pair of jeans. I told my mom I'd like some that when I lean over or sit, my butt crack/underwear aren't showing. She responded with, "Ohh you mean like mom jeans??" aughh...Yes...I guess that's exactly what I mean! Ohhh the joys of getting older :) I never thought this day would come!
Today we shop for jeans, haha!
ReplyDeleteHenry has that toy too! We keep it in the car and then put it on his lap when we're driving. It makes so many sounds and does so much stuff--he stays very entertained! It's a nice backseat toy.
