I took Kalvin back to his doctor yesterday because he kept throwing up his antibiotic. She confirmed that he still has the ear infection (darn!!) and that we should try another medicine that is only once a day instead of twice. I tried it when we got home and just as I suspected...he threw that medicine up too PLUS every last drop of liquid in his little tummy! Poor Baby!!!!
I've been so frustrated because I feel like I can't do anything to make this little guy feel better. After he threw up the new medicine yesterday, I called the doctor back. So we're trying something different...today he's going in for a one-time shot of antibiotics. I know he'll cry for a second but it will be far less traumatic then taking that liquid medicine has been!!
Dan came home from work yesterday sick and today he's home again with a nasty cold. My throat definitely doesn't feel right either but I don't have time to be sick...I have a little baby, a big baby, a puppy, and myself to take care of!
It's amazing the huge snot bubbles that Kalvin can blow out of his nose! Yesterday, I saw one that was at least 2 inches across!!! NO JOKE!!
I bet he's surprised when he produces those snot bubbles. :) It must look funny to him.
