Banana Puffs

It has been a big week for Kalvin! He FINALLY got a tooth! He's been working on them for a few months! I thought he got both of the bottom ones at the same time but upon further inspection it looks like it's only one :( The other will be coming soon I'm sure!

He's also figured out how to be more mobile. (Eeek!) He doesn't really crawl yet but with his rolling, reaching and scooting skills he can pretty much get anything on the floor he wants. I think the baby-proofing is going to be happening very soon around here! The other day I found a ladybug in his chubby fingers. GROSS!

Now that he's feeling better, he has been trying to eat some food again. This morning I gave him a little snack of banana puffs. He's not a huge fan...but I really enjoy watching him eat them! Check out the pictures below!!

He has one in his mouth...that's why his lips are sealed shut!

HAHA! The puffs start to dissolve as soon as they get a tiny bit wet. This means they stick really well to his face and fingers. It makes it hard to throw them down or spit them out!

I love watching him try to pick them up! Even if they have absolutely no nutritional value...they are at least helping him with his fine motor skills, right?

Vera likes banana puffs too!!

(I swear...Kalvin doesnt spend all day in the Exer-saucer like it may appear from the pictures!!!)
