Another Sick Day!

Last night was pretty rough on Kalvin (and me!!). I've been debating the idea of taking him to urgent care. Kalvin has had a little cold before with a tiny cough and a stuffy nose but he's never been THIS sick.

Last night he had his first real fever. I feel like this was a right of passage into parenthood. I had no idea what I was supposed to do! I obviously gave him some baby Advil to bring the fever down. What I didn't know was...Do I strip him down to cool him off? Do I bundle him up so he doesn't get the chills? How high can his temp get and still be safe? Ohhh so many questions!!

So while I was up 87% of the night with a coughing, crying, fevery, sad, little boy...Dan slept very peacefully. I always find it amazing that he can sleep through that while I'm sitting right next to him! hehe!

Kalvin is currently napping (inbetween his coughing spells). He seems OK right now but I may still bring him in for a checkup later. I'm feeling so helpless and I hate that feeling :( Poor Baby!

On a brighter note...I took some pictures of Kalvin yesterday! He was pretty smiley! That was the first time he had played with that fun toy and he was right in the peak of his Advil dose!
