Ohhh...Well Hello Again!

It seems like my blog is getting away from me! I've been trying to take lots of pictures but it seems difficult when we're busy visiting friends, having birthdays, mowing the lawn, and trying not to move much so we stay cooler!

Monday was my 26th birthday so Dan took the day off work!! This was super exciting because that doesn't happen EVER....A whole day to hang out with him?!?!?! It was 95 degrees that day so we knew we wanted to be in air conditioning so I suggested the aquarium at the Mall of America. We had a great time. I loved seeing Kalvin's face light up when the critters swam next to him! I posted some pictures below. Kalvin really enjoyed it! (the pictures might look differently...) We ate at Ruby Tuesday where I got a giant salad and a glass of white sangria! For supper we cooked appetizer type food in our deep fat fryer (YUM!) and ended the night with a giant bowl of ice cream! The day was all about yummy food and amazing family time! It couldn't have been better!

Kalvin is getting more and more fun (and busy!). I enjoy the moments where he takes a second to give me hugs and kisses or just looks up at me and giggle. Both of us are currently covered in bruises. Kalvin keeps falling down and bonking his head and is getting lots of bruises on his knees from crawling... my arms and legs are bruised from Kalvin pinching me! Hopefully this pinching phase passes quickly! I'm not a fan!
