After 2 trips and many calls to the vet, 2 rounds of antibiotics, and several hundred dollars later...We have a diagnosis on what we thought were bug bites on Vera!! She has something called Demodectic Mange (otherwise called Red Mange). It's a parasite which lives in her hair follicles! So now we have the correct medicine to fix it! She'll be on more medicine for the next few months but we're praying it completely goes away! Poor dog!
